Came across this super dope remix by The Soundmen to Britney Spear’s “3″ on TheMusicSlut. It definitely deserves to be posted and you can download it for free from this link as well.

She might have always been sort of a hot mess…but it’s cool. Just look at the picture below and it all goes away.

If you haven’t seen it yet, here is the new video. It’s been out for a minute, but it’s still something fun to look at.

Bust out the defibrillator! OCC is on life support!! HELPPPP!!!

Shockingly, 28,625 of you visited 74,243 different pages on orangecountyconcepts.com during the month of November. That is down significantly from our glory days, but still a mystery to me considering we haven’t updated since Familiar Joe’s post about the Electric Zoo festival in September. At least our last post was in September, MiamiNights.com hasn’t had a post since June, and DrinkUpOrlando.com and Defame Orlando are like, non-exhistant now, hmmm how things change. So where are you getting your gossipy news now Orlando nightlife people? How are you surviving without our witty, insulting, sarcasm?

So you may ask yourself, what is going on with Docta Dawe, dLux, E. Sprad the photographer, Matt Phillips, Chris Callahan the photographer, and the rest of the bloggers that faithfully brought the city of Orlando entertainment for over a year here on OCC. Well, we are at a crossroads… That is:

Revive OCC?

Move on to a new project?

Its been a tough call. As many of you know I have been sidelined for a few months with a medical thing, (See http://www.orangecountyconcepts.com/2009/03/29/docta-dawe-public-service-announcement-2/) and will be returning to the DJ world around January. Until then I plan on doing a lot of nothing and really would like to get back to blogging. Soooo with that being said I will be announcing how I plan to do that over the next few days…

Personally, I would like to create a new blog, one that is not over run with comments from Russians about where to score viagra on the low low. I also would love to do something with my past collaborators… (even Kaypee), we did have a lot of fun here on OCC, and I think that really came across through our blogs. Anyways, hopefully this little thought from my head will catch on to the revival, or to a new project…. either way, my person/temporary blog will be up and running soon, but will mostly focus on my cancer treatment. So lets get this party started again my Orlando blogger friends!!

Mr. Orlando, you finally made it onto OCC.

Posted by dLux  Published in 19sixty, D-D-D-D-DeeJay dLux!, Docta Dawe, I don't give a FUCK, Local News, Local Nightlife, MCDC, Mikey Stylez, WhatsHot LikesCock, industry dirt

So just about everyone in the UCF/Orlando area read and/or commented on my blog about how lame promoting around this town has become here and here, so this blog will be somewhat of a sequel to that, in a sense.

I’m swag surfing FaceBook today and I see a status update from none other than Clint “Mr.Orlando” House that goes a little something like this…

Gasp.

You read right folks, Mr. Orlando is officially hanging up his blazers (or should I say blazer) and throwing in the towel on the city that coined his now infamous nickname. Can you blame him? I definetly cannot. One thing I can say is that Clint gave it his best shot. Let’s re-cap, in picture form.

Clint popped up in the nightlife scene by promoting for WhatsHot with Chris Nault and Rob Hype…

(Nault has lost some weight since then, eh? He and Mikey Stylez must be on the same diet because they are both looking way buff these days, no homo. Dawe, you could take some advice from those two.)

Clint left WhatsHot due to financial issues within the company (gasp again) and decided, because he has 2,000+ FaceBook friends, that he should start his own company and thus Revolution Nights was born.

I guess no one had the balls to tell Clint that there was a gay club with the same name but whatever. If that wasn’t enough to scratch your head about, he then made a logo to get people to join his ‘revolution’ which looks like someone from South Carolina might have made to make a statement about OTHER things.

Wow.

And so the revolution began. Now, Clint might not have started a revolution in nightlife but he sure did make a revolution in graphic design.

Can we get the number to your graphic designer? Please? I mean, how does he know how to do all those cool tricks on MS Paint?

Ok, Revolution Nights was a bust, so Clint decided to re-brand himself and his company by going back to the moniker that he had while working for Biggins, Mr. Orlando.

Clint then secured himself a night at Antiqua, Project Bikini.

Obviously hired a different graphic artist this time cause this one isn’t too bad. It isn’t too good either, because they forgot to put one instrumental thing on the flyer, the date. Being the professional Mr. Orlando is, he pulled out his handy silver colored Sharpie and added the date in himself.

Clint went all in on this party, posting status updates about it once every 30 mins. He even found time to post status updates while swooning the ladies…

Project Bikini was apart of the 4th of July weekend extravaganza Mr. Orlando promised us. Wednesday at Antiqua, Friday at Bliss (also a bikini party) and concluding it all Saturday with the biggest joke of a 4th of July party in Orlando history, the “I’m on a Boat” party, which was cancelled last minute due to nobody giving a shit or willing to pay the ridiculous ticket price.

Mr. Orlando obviously failed to do his homework because…

1. Chillers owns Church Street on Wednesday nights and has for years now.

2. OCC did a bikini party mere weeks before at Antiqua, which would end up being the death of STEREO because it was THAT bad.

So after 3 failed attempts at starting new nights around town (Fusian, Antiqua, and let’s not forget Medicis) he did what no one was expecting and joined forces with Mikey Stylez to help him launch his newest night at Roxy, Models and Bottles. After the first week success of Stylez’ new party, Clint then made himself an official KnightLyfer. Why? Who the fuck knows.

Here he is pictured with DJ19Sixty and his freshly shaven arms…

According to Mikey Stylez, Clint pulled $500 that night, which Dawe and I both think is too saucy to be true but if you did Clint, good job. Don’t spend all that money on Bud Light and Marlboro Lights.

One thing Clint did do which I thought was both slick and pathetic at the same time was make a FaceBook group while the Orlando Magic were in the playoffs titled ‘Magic are going to the finals!!’ or something along those lines. In this group, he amassed 1,000+ people. Well, as you know, the Magic didn’t make it past Phil Jackson and his 9 rings, so Clint did what any sleezy promoter would do. He changed the name of his group to ‘I party with Mr. Orlando!’.

Bravo. Rather than make a new group, you just changed the name of the one you made about sports and turned it into a group about partying. Anyway, so after Mikey Stylez made it rain on Clint (no homo) because of that $500 first night at Roxy, Clint then changed the name of the group AGAIN, this time to ‘KnightLyfe.com’. Incredible. Absolutely incredible, Clint.

That brings us to today, where we are left to ask ourselves, what happened? Was the money not good enough? Did they take your microphone from you at the club for laughing into it too much and that rubbed you the wrong way? Did someone steal your bottle of Verdi out of VIP that Stylez gave to you for a job well done? We need answers; the public deserves to know.

Or was it just for reasons that I explained in the blog that started all this?

Disclaimer: This blog was not meant to be an “I hate Clint House” blog, but merely a busting of the chops. Clint is my friend and knows this should be taken with the smallest grain of salt out of the shaker (as should anything I said about anyone else IE: Stylez, Nault and 19sixty). In the end, you obviously made some type of impression on people if I decided to take time out to write this detailed blog about you. Congrats Clint, you finally got your own blog on OCC.

This blog has been Docta Douche Chris approved:

Do you want it raw??

Posted by DJ Docta Dawe  Published in Local Nightlife, industry dirt

Despite warnings from OCC about the black hole that is Fusian Ultra Lounge, Smileforecamera.com is debuting a brand new night at Casey Anthony’s favorite party spot tonight. This venue has seen pretty much every promotional company in Orlando attempt a party at least once, and has seen quite a few failures.

If anything has a chance of working in this venue, I say this will be the party. I am a huge fan of smileforcamera.com and there is NOTHING to do in this entire city right now, so there really couldn’t be a more prefect time to try something different. I have my fingers crossed that this weekly party will be a success.

Dear Orlando Weekly,

Posted by DJ Docta Dawe  Published in Docta Dawe, OCC news, industry dirt

bestoffuckyou.jpg

Congratulations on another successful year as Orlando’s premiere alternative weekly publication. With the arrival of the “best of 2009” issue, I can’t help but notice that I was not given an invitation to the “Best of Orlando” party, again! I have been completely distraught over this, as last year not only did our lovely site place a hard fought #3 in the “Best Local Internet Site” category, but I also placed #2 in the “Best Club DJ”. How come I never received a classy “Best of Orlando” framed plaque like everyone else?!?! What may have slipped under the radar of many of the fine employees of the Orlando Weekly, is that last year, despite not getting an invite to the “Best of” party, I actually made it in anyways…. as the DJ.

img_0016.jpg

Here I am proudly sporting my custom made “#2″ shirt to commemorate my status as almost a winner.

img_0102.jpg

So this is where the blog turns from friendly chatter to sour apples. This years winners are no surprise to me. By looking at these results I see that not only have we not evolved as a city, we have actually taken steps backwards (the reasons to which I mention on a blog by blog basis). I will revisit this topic again later…

As far as the “Best Club DJ” category goes, I took myself out of the running, because I have not been the best club DJ in Orlando the past year. In 2008 I deserved it, 2009, not as much. Kittybat, and Y-NOT definitely deserve the honor, as they are both sick DJs. I am glad to see that deserving DJs took home this honor, and that the popularity contest element took the back seat to skill. Pauly Crush, also, deserves credit, as he has pioneered a long running night (Crush) that has been successful for many years now, something that was virtually unheard of in Orlando before his arrival. I can sleep well at night knowing this award was given to the right people.

The most disappointing category in this years awards is the “Local Color” section. When is Billy Manes (Not to be confused with the dead Oxyclean guy) going to NOT win the “Best Local Writer” award? How can you win best writer, in your own newspapers category? One look at this fucking category and I seriously want to move as far away from this city as possible. I am so tired of the same old names and faces. But in all fairness, they did have a few good Orlando Weekly picks, but I don’t understand the supposed “reader picks”. Who the fuck goes to metromix? How can this POSSIBLY be in the top websites? LAME. How does “The Daily City” win best blog?!? No offense, but Daily City, Who are you?

We are the best blog in Orlando. Period.

I could go on for five more paragraphs but I am already bored with this blog. I will close with this… I am glad there is a newspaper like the Orlando Weekly in this town, to call out the bullshit in this city, especially with some of our local elected officials and the constant bureaucracy, scandal, and corruption that surrounds them. So even though we have been blacklisted by The Weekly in 2009, our hats go off to the paper that keeps ‘em honest and tell it like it is… MOST of the time.

I pulled this mix off of Y-NOT’s blog, its pretty dope. O.U.R. SHOW RADIO Mix archive from 5/9/2009. You can check him out every Sat from 5-7PM on 91.5 WPRK FM.

Orlando!! The city that always sleeps!

Posted by DJ Docta Dawe  Published in Docta Dawe, industry dirt

So as I surfed the internet looking for my next blog topic, I realized that basically every local, and national blog still had Michael Jackson on the front page. Orlando is the city that sleeps, most of the year, but ESPECIALLY during summertime. I have come to the conclusion that you don’t want to party anymore Orlando, you are LAME. I think DJ AM pretty much got it right with this one:

djam.jpg

When he played here at Club Destiny almost 2 years ago there was a whopping 75-100 people there, and it was heavily advertised on the radio. Orlando, you have failed, and have been failing for years. I could go on forever, but I don’t want to talk about what is wrong with this city anymore. The problem lies with the people that live here. Clint House, AKA “Mr. Orlando” posted this note on his Facebook earlier today…

In this business I try to hook everybody up as much as I can. Whether it be free entrance or free drinks or a good deal on bottles, I try to take care of as many people as I can. But what I dont understand is when people bitch and complain about having to pay a cover when the club is giving away free drinks. HOLY SHIT ITS FUCKING $5 to get into the club that is giving you FREE FUCKING DRINKS. I mean Jesus Christ really? You can’t fork out $5 to get free drinks? Yes ideally it would be great to be able to go out downtown and not have to pay for anything and get the ultimate hook up, but come on you arent a superstar, you arent anyone famous, so stop bitching about having to pay the cover charge if you are getting free drinks.

Rule # 1 - YOU CANT GET EVERYTHING FOR FREE!!! Promoting is a business, the club is a business, you can’t expect to get everything for free from a business. If that was the case it would be called a charity for alcoholics…not a business.

Rule # 2 - Guest lists are not always for free entrance. Sometimes they can be for skipping the line, or getting VIP, or for making sure your sister doesn’t have to fuck the door guy to get in. Whatever the case a guest list is just a list of people coming out. So don’t get your panties in a bunch if you don’t get in for free just because you are on the list.

Rule # 3 - Free drinks are well liquors. Yeah the cheap shit. Because the club knows that people who are only coming out for free drinks are cheap people. Only in certain cases and for special events will a club give away free premium drinks and only for a short amount of time. Thats how a club makes money, off its alcohol sales. Clubs make DICK off the door. So don’t bitch to the promoter when you arent getting a free jack and coke or a free gay ass martini. Take your well vodka and cranberry that you didnt pay anything for and shut the fuck up.

Bottom line is that we cant give you everything for free. In a perfect world where money didnt make the decisions then yeah we could, but thats not the case. A $5 cover charge is nothing so why do people bitch when they have to pay cover? I could understand if we were down in Miami and you were having to pay $20 + to get in but come on really….$5? Also I understand that if a promoter tells you its free entrance on the list and then you get there and its not, that you are pissed at the promoter. At the same time most clubs downtown only do free entrance on the list until a certain time. After that its either full price or half off. Either way when the promoter tells you to be there by a certain time to get in for free, dont be pissed off when you show up 30 minutes late and dont get in for free. ITS YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT for being late.

**Service Announcement** If the club gives away free drinks most likely its not free entrance. If drinks are on a special then the promoter can most likely get you free entrance. ITS EITHER OR NOT BOTH!! So dont expect free entrance and free drinks. If you have a problem with that…get over it.

I am so tired of bitching about this city I don’t even want to post blogs like this anymore. Why don’t people in this town like to have fun? Why are they all cheap fucks? Why won’t they embrace events with any sort of culture behind them? Not that project bikini had that ::sorry Clint  ;-) ::  ….but Clint does have valid points about people being CHEAP. Like he said, take a vacation to Miami, EVERWHERE is $20-$50 to get in, and then the drinks are $10 a piece. On the other hand Miami Nightlife is much more evolved than Orlando Nightlife. The production is much more advanced, the DJs are much more talented, and are able to play a cultured playlist to a cultured crowd. The clubs are also WAYYYYY nicer, and they are MAINTAINED, with beautiful VIP areas, unbelievable lighting, and stylish decor. They aren’t rocking the same layout that they were in 2002, they UPDATE and REMODEL on a yearly basis. Orlando will always settle for places like Scoops and TDs, and as long as places like that still are in business, Orlando will be no different than Bumfuck, Kentucky. Who’s ready to make Orange County Concepts - ORANGE COUNTY CONCEPTS?? I give up, WHO’S COMING WITH ME?!?!?!

And I now present to you the newest thing to hit Orlando nightlife. The Gilbert Thriller dance:

To beard or not to beard?

Posted by DJ Docta Dawe  Published in Because I thought you should know..., D-D-D-D-DeeJay dLux!, Docta Dawe, Eric Draven, Local News, Politics, industry dirt

I figured if I wanted to write this nonsense I better do it quickly before dLux and Draven drop their mixtapes this week, as I know they will want the top blog spot on the website. I know this may be a little off topic, actually, it kind of pertains to nightlife news, because there is a very high probability that I will be looking like a douchebag as I frolic from club to club.

I have always wanted to grow a beard. I made a half ass attempt at it toward the end of my Firestone days, but then I woke up early one day and shaved it off. It was getting itchy and annoying, and in a half asleep morning daze I shaved it off, forgetting that I was actually trying to grow a beard. Well if I have it my way, this summer the beard will return. Here is the ultimate goal:

tommiesunshine.jpg

 Tommie Sunshine, beard genius.

Ok, maybe not the long hair. Do ladies find any sort of sexual appeal in a beard? So far I have gotten mixed reviews, but I am willing to give it a shot. If anything I just want to have some facebook pictures looking like the one above, or even better this:

 joaquinphoenix2.jpg

joaquinphoenix.jpg

 Joaquin Phoenix, beardo.

According to some online forums I have read, “Beards are very “in” right now.”, and everyone knows how important it is for me to be “in” (see Defame: Orlando’s scene confusion blog). Nothing screams emotional stability like a neck beard, not to mention some men are recognized nearly as much for their beards as they are their accomplishments (Lincoln, ZZ Top, Rick Rubin). Now the real question here is if I grow this Joaquin Phoenix-esq beard, will I have to sport those stylish sunglasses and the skinny neck tie as well? I mean, look at how well this beardo has worked for this man:

I am officially sold. Ok, so now the hard part. Which style beard shall I choose?

1. “The Gordon Fisherman”

All out, uncontrolled pile of hair. Sported by Hemingway, Grizzly Adams, Paul Gasol, Gilbert, and most homeless guys.

 dawebeard1.jpg

2. “The Timberlake”

A closely groomed, sexy look. Sported by Justin Timberlake, George Clooney, Jake Gyllenhaal.

dawebeard2.jpg

3. “The Original ’stache”

Most don’t believe this should be allowed to be sported at all, anywhere, unless the person has lost a bet. Exceptions include Fred Goldman, Tom Selleck, Freddie Mercury, and most importantly Geraldo Rivera.

dawebeard3.jpg

4. “The Trucker”

A personal favorite, a Play-Off beard gone wrong, only for Badass Mofo’s. Inspired by James Hetfield and Hulk Hogan.

dawebeard4.jpg

I am leaning toward “The Gordon Fisherman”, what do you think?

With all this beard excitement I almost forgot, it is that time again…

BEST OF ORLANDO voting from the Orlando Weekly.

Allow me to make some suggestions:

Best local Internet site: orangecountyconcepts.com

 Best local blog: orangecountyconcepts.com

Best club DJ: DJ Docta Dawe (Can we please get a #1 this year? After all, I did DJ the “Best of Orlando” party last year!)

Best club night: STEREO @ Antigua

Best hip-hop act: DJ dLux (I know he’s not an “act” but since there is no “Best Mixtape DJ” section I shall protest with this vote)

 Best T-shirts: Reign Clothing

 Best coffeehouse: Austin’s Coffee (austinscoffee.com)

Best local radio personality: Shannon Burke (You gotta love him! Maybe this will get him his job back!)

Remember, YOU HAVE TO VOTE IN AT LEAST 15 CATEGORIES, so please fill in the other answers as best as you can. It will only take a second, and if we win, we promise to retire the term “nice dick”. Thanks.

ROLL IN, ROCK OUT OF BUSINESS

Posted by dLux  Published in D-D-D-D-DeeJay dLux!, Local News, Local Nightlife, industry dirt

A very reliable source has informed me that MetroWest’s newest nightclub, Roll Bar, has shut its doors indefinetly. Rumors are that the club wasn’t paying its bills and had to fold due to overwhelming debt.

Roll Bar recently fired their GM to bring in another person to hopefully breathe new life into their club which, in my opinion wasn’t that bad of a spot. They had the right idea, the right location, and it seemed like they had a steady following but I guess it just wasn’t enough to compete. Investors have apparently gutted the building taking everything they can. Televisions, VIP furniture, and of course plenty of booze were all seized by investors. Rumor has it that the owners of the highly successful Tavern On The Lake, which is also in the same plaza as Roll Bar, are trying to buy the now defunct club.

We’ll have more on this story as it develops so be sure to check back and REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST, ORANGE. COUNTY. CONCEPTS.

Cinco De Crazy!!

Posted by DJ Docta Dawe  Published in D-D-D-D-DeeJay dLux!, Docta Dawe, Local News, Local Nightlife, News, OCC Events, industry dirt

So last night thousands of people were out on the town celebrating Cinco De Mayo. Our very own DJ dLux was seen around town looking something like this:

cincodelux.jpg

One can only hope last nights parties were as good as the notorious “Scoop de mayo”, which was last years captivating party held at everyone’s favorite UCF area bar “Knightly Scoop”. If you don’t remember last years chaos let me refresh your memory about this hugely successful event:

img_0188.jpg

img_0190.jpg

img_0230.jpg

As you can see maneuvering through last years massive crowd was borderline hazardous. No word yet on how successful “scoop de homo” **cough** “scoop de mayo” was this year…

police.jpg

In other related cinco de mayo news, some nutcase decided to go “cinco de psycho” last night on Church St. I guess he couldn’t take all the Mexican madness that was overtaking the city.

“Barb Jones with Orlando Police says a “man went nuts” on Church Street just as the clubs were letting out, slamming his car first into a parked car, then the Antigua nightclub, and finally some pedestrians. “At some point, officers engaged that driver. Shots were fired by the officers, and the driver of the vehicle was transported to ORMC. I do not have an update on his status.”

We believe 3 OPD officers opened fire, all have been placed on administrative leave while the FDLE investigates. None of the pedestrians were hurt seriously, but we are not expecting the suspect to survive. In fact, homicide detectives from OPD have been working this scene since the early morning hours. What is most unclear initially is why this man went on that rampage.”

Thanks to WDBO for that story. Word was later that this guy didn’t make it. I can already hear the cries of excessive force by the officers in this case, although it does seem a little extreme to swiss cheese up some guy who was probably drunk and acting a fool on cinco de mayo. I wasn’t there so I obviously don’t know the details first hand, but I have a feeling this story is just beginning. Anyways, all this excitement makes me happy I went cinco de sleepo early last night.

In related news, the MASSIVE GLOW PARTY  Thursday, May 14th @ Antigua won’t be disrupted by the damage caused by the “man who went nuts”.

 stereobackhalfweb.jpg

Was that a tasteless promotion? Anyways, this party is gonna be amazing, and I had to tie it into this blog somehow.

One final note… Following up on the Shannon Burke story, Orlando radio host Shannon Burke is now out of the Seminole County Jail. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Burke, 43, was released from jail Tuesday and is wearing a monitoring device. He was also fired earlier in the week from his job at WTKS, Real Radio 104.1 FM. Isn’t this the type of thing that would increase their ratings!??! Shannon Burke was arrested, and accused of shooting his dog and wife. He claims it was a mistake, and it seems pretty obvious of that by listening to the 911 call (see below blog for 911 call audio).

Steve Aoki is bigger than Jesus.

Posted by DJ Docta Dawe  Published in D-D-D-D-DeeJay dLux!, Docta Dawe, I don't give a FUCK, Local News, Local Nightlife, Steve Aoki, industry dirt

The facebook and twitter is buzzing today about last nights Steve Aoki performance at Icon. If you are not familiar with Steve Aoki (kill yourself), He is a HUGE club DJ from California with a massive following. He is also the founder of Dim Mak Records, which jump-started the career of Bloc Party, among others. His sister is model Devon Aoki and father was the founder of the Benihana restaurant chain. He also took my shirt off once.

aoki.jpg

Good times.

His stage presences as a DJ is larger than life, jumping all over the stage, diving into the crowd, and nearly causing a riot during his performances. This guy knows how to work a crowd like none other!

icon for podpress  YouTube: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download

With all the hype surrounding this guy, nearly every influential artist and DJ in Orlando was at Icon last night to see what the deal was. Last night was Aoki’s third Orlando appearance, (twice at Saturday/Thursday @ Firestone, once original S/T, once the second coming of S/T). For many of these people, last night was the first time they have seen this guy in action and the reviews were very mixed. The debate has been raging on our very own DJ dLux’s facebook page, where he basically said he was not feeling Aoki’s set. I also spoke with a few other very well respected local DJs who were not impressed by his track selection, or mixing. Were they just hating because they were jealous? On the other hand, a lot of people had been commenting that they enjoyed his set and had a great time. What do you think?

How was Steve Aoki’s performance last night at Icon?

I missed Aoki, because I had to play my own set at STEREO, but in my opinion the star of the night, from what I saw, was the opening DJ Pauly Crush, real talk. That guy opened up with a long methodical track, with no backbeat… just a really epic opening track, then he jumped up on the turntable setup, and yelled out to the crowd, and out of nowhere this bass heavy thumping electro beat came in… and the building erupted just as the huge bright flood lights shined on the big crowd in a frenzy of fist pumps. I’m just calling it how I saw it, like it or not, and that was truly an epic moment….

Now onto a totally different topic…

What the fuck is going on with Orlando radio?!? Not that anyone listens to FM radio anymore anyways, but Clear Channel Communications laid off hundreds of employees across the company on Tuesday, including on on-air talent. The local talent was, Oddo from The Philips Phile on WTKS 104.1, Bubba from The Monsters on WTKS 104.1, Alex Diaz from WXXL 106.7, and Crazy Sam from Rumba 100.3. The ipod/satellite radio have officially won the battle.

On an even more interesting local radio note, well known local radio personality Shannon Burke was arrested this morning for firing a gunshot inside his Altamonte Springs area home that injured a family dog and then grazed his wife in the head!

burke_mug.JPG

He was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and animal cruelty. He is being held without bail in the Seminole County Jail. He told the police that he became angry with the pet late Thursday and was waving a firearm that he thought was not loaded. The bullet passed through the dog’s leg and then grazed his wife. I actually really like this dudes show, so hopefully everything will work out for him and he won’t be added to the list of local radio personalities without jobs.

OCC has obtained the 911 call - Check it out here.
