When DJ Spillz and I were on our world tour we made a stop in Panama City right in time for spring break. It was right after Japan, and before Australia…. anyways, we were in the middle of spooning…. ughhh…. I mean, trying on our new platinum gold slivery mouth grillz when we were interrupted by a MTV camera crew. After Suge Knight (our personal security guard) shook them all down, we allowed them access to our ultra exclusive private beach house. I now present you our episode of MTV cribs:

By now most of you have already heard about the illuminati rumors surrounding artists such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Kanye West etc. To sum it all up, many believe that these artists, along with many other artists, are part of a group that are worshiping some kind of pagan, demonic god, but also control the music industry. These rumors have been floating around for quite a while now, but lately there has been a maelstrom (thats for you E-Rock) of music videos that are said to be bringing this secret culture to the forefront.
I personally ignored such talk as ignorant paranoia, but lately it has been hard to ignore the large amount of ritualistic type music videos. Is this a trend, or does it all have a deeper meaning? Two videos that have come out in the last few months really convinced me that this might actually be a reality.
Lady Gaga’s – “Alejandro”
Lady Gaga has been labeled as a puppet for the illuminati ever since she first appeared on the scene. In a number of her pictures, she either hides one eye or circles it, emphasizing the idea of the All-Seeing Eye.
Hey look! All of her friends are doing it too!
Lady Gaga has also been seen wearing horns, and what people call the “head of Baphomet” have appeared in her Bad Romance video. Her videos are filled with blatant symbolism, so much so that it can’t be ignored.
Kanye West’s new video for “Power” just added fuel to the fire. It clearly has all kinds of symbolic images.
Kanye West – “Power”
This account of the video is from the wikipedia article on “Power”:
“The Power video commences with a portrait-view headshot of Kanye West staring intensely into the camera and wearing a large, low-hanging gold chain necklace with an equally large pendant of Horus. **(the Egyptian god of the sky, god of war, and god of protection)** As the music begins, the camera slowly pans out in one continuous take to reveal West standing between black columns, and surrounded by partially-dressed female characters. Some kneel before him; some embrace; four figures wear ibex-like horns; and some are suspended upside down, pouring water that flows upward. Two horned, staff-bearing figures, loosely resembling interpretations of Isis and Hathor, stand on either side of West; each slowly strikes the ground with their staff, in time to the music. The Sword of Damocles hangs over the rapper’s head, while other slowly-moving figures appear ready to strike West with blades.”
Wow. Whatever happened to those Jesus pieces Kanye? Is this really the same guy who made “Jesus Walks“. Just the fact that he is wearing the necklace of a pagan god should raise an eyebrow or two.
So you say the chain is just a coincidence? How about this new bling Kanye has been sporting?
I could go on more, as the evidence is overwhelming. Before you yourself brush this off as another conspiracy theory I suggest you check out “vigilantcitizen.com” a blog that has been exposing these artists and videos one by one. Is this just another publicity stunt by the music industry, or are these music videos deep hidden occult messages being sent out by secret societies controlling the music industry? Visit “The Vigilant Citizen” and decide for yourself.

Kanye has been tweeting about this remix for quite some time. Funkmaster Flex premiered it in NYC at 12am this morning. Kanye recorded new verses over a basically new instrumental that samples the “Snap!” classic “I’ve Got The Power”. Jay-Z takes the intro and the first verse over the original production and drops some solid bars. The transitional ending with Swizz Beatz really stands out as well.

Everything about Mac Miller is right. First off… this dude is a KID, only a young 18 years old. His mixtape is called “Kids” which stands for “Kickin’ Incredibly Dope Shit”. His sound is different, like, for real. He has a youthful hipster swaggg with a very old school, laid back, northern taste in beats (Other than the feel good anthem “Don’t Mind if I Do” which samples “Fireflies”).
The thing I like about him is he is a white rapper who is setting his own tone. People immediately compared Asher Roth to Eminem, maybe the white rapper syndrome had something to do with that, but Asher never screamed originality to me. This kid is different. I have never heard shit like this. His artistic homemade music videos paint the perfect suburbian picture of this Pittsburgh teenagers sound.
Details on him are still kind of hard to come by, I guess when you’re straight out of high school the bio has yet to be written. He is already getting attention from major hip-hop and music media, and according to his twitter yesterday (the day he dropped this mixtape) he was the 35th most popular search on google. Thats pretty impressive since I had no idea who this kid was last week.
Check out his video for “Traffic In The Sky/Don’t Mind if I Do” below:
01 – Kickin Incredibly Dope Shit Intro
02 – Outside
03 – Get Em Up
04 – Nikes On My Feet
05 – Senior Skip Day
06 – The Spins
07 – Traffic In The Sky
08 – Dont Mind If I Do
09 – Paper Route Feat Chevy Woods
10 – Good Evening
11 – Ride Around
12 – Knock Knock
13 – Mad Flava Heavy Flow Interlude Feat Dj Bonics
14 – Kool Aid Frozen Pizza
15 – All I Want Is You
16 – Poppy
17 – Face In The Crowd

If you are not familiar with DJ Spillz he got his start about 13 years ago in Allentown, Pennsylvania playing clubs all over the region. Since then he has moved to Florida, Hawaii, and California, dropping his unique sound and holding down residences.
Now Mr Spillz has finally dropped his first video mix!! This mix is FIRE. The intro alone is remarkable, and filled with unique cuts and scratches. The blends on this one are so smoothhhh and each track and video transition seamlessly. I honestly do not think I have seen a video mix as well done as this one. Remember where you heard him first…
If you like the mix please head on over to freakonomix and give this mix 6 stars!! You can also leave him a comment over there.
You can also download this mix here!: (beware, the files are massive… but it it totally worth it to be able to rock this on your iPod. [or Evo in my case] How’s that free bumper workin’ out Sprad & dLux?)
A little side note: If it wasn’t for DJ Spillz, there might not be a DJ Docta Dawe. Spillz was the first DJ I ever met and taught me a lot about the art of turntablism. I learned a lot of my skillz from Spillz!!
Another side note: Spillz is going to be the newest blogging contributor for Orange County Concepts so keep an eye out for a Spillz blog coming soon!

If you made it to the Steve Aoki show last night (most of Orlando did) then you already know how insane this show got. By midnight Deko was at capacity with a line wrapped around the side of the complex. I opened the show with help from 19Sixty, Amtrak, and DJ Nova. All the opening DJs played great sets, getting the place in the right mood for the nasty electro Aoki was to drop. Lots of unreleased exclusive tracks were debuted to the Orlando crowd as well last night. Amtrack had a handful of originals, as did Aoki, including one unreleased track featuring Lil Jon.
Overall this was by far the most successful electro show UCF has ever seen. It also was a huge stepping stone for the UCF area club/bar scene as a whole. There was talk that Deko had over 1,200 people in attendance last night. If that number is correct (and we believe it was pretty damn close) than that shows the UCF area clubs have as much, if not more pull than downtown venues, and puts Deko in the company of venues like Firestone and Icon. Bold words, but if you were there last night than you would agree.
Our OCC photographers Familiar Joe and Colombia are combing through hundreds of pictures as we speak. They are PHENOMENAL. As you know, OCC always likes to present quality photos, so be patient. Steve Aoki pics will be up before the weekend and they will not disappoint!

Its official! Insane Asian electro house DJ Steve Aoki is coming back to Orlando July 6th, 2010 for a special performance at Deko. If you are familiar with the antics of Steve Aoki then you already know what to expect. This guy is NUTS and this performance should be no different. With Deko’s elevated DJ booth right above the bar, attendees are guaranteed to have the ultimate Steve Aoki experience.
I also have the pleasure of opening up for Steve Aoki at this show for the second time. I will be joined by DJ Nova, 19Sixty, Derek Walin, and Amtrac.
Opening DJ Amtrac (sometimes spelled Amtrak) has also been making a lot of noise. This Electro/Dubstep standout has been all over the hype machine lately with his recent remix of Drakes “Over” and Amanda Blank’s “Might Like You Better.” More on him coming soon in a future blog…
Here are the facts:
Steve Aoki
July 6th, 2010 @ Deko Lounge

So I intended to do my first music blog on the new OCC today and feature lots of good fist pumpers. As I sorted through some of my latest gems, I noticed basically every song I wanted to blog about was a dubstep track.
Manyyy months ago my buddy Ian the Korean kept saying “You need to throw some dubstep in your set!” I brushed him off, but now everywhere I play these days it seems like someone is requesting dubstep. There is rarely any in particular track requested, just “dubstep”. When I got booked for Ultra Music Festival, I posted a Facebook status asking my friends what tracks they thought I should play. Cockney Thug by Rusko was the number one response. As dLux pointed out in yesterdays blog, Rusko is pretty much dominating the scene. Here are a few in my playlist right now:
This one was HAND PICKED by Ian The Korean himself for this blog!! SOOOO dirty!!
I am extremelyyyy tired of the “How Low” remixes, but Serafin gives this one the royal dubstep treatment. PS. You probably won’t find this track anywhere else.
