To call last night interesting would be a bit of an understatement. Last night @ Dave’s Place, DJ Docta Dawe showed everyone just how big his balls actually are. Unwanted guest DJ, DJ Endo, who was booked by the nights promoter, decided to spin an obnoxious repetitive techno set and alienated an entire crowd to satisfy his own selfish desire to play breakbeats from the mid 90’s.
All the mean while the patrons of the bar are vocalizing their concern with his poor selection of music and instead of succumbing to their wishes this douchebag starts yelling at the promoter letting it be known to all of those in attendance that said Douche doesn’t care about what the people want to hear. Docta Dawe wouldn’t stand for any of it and I’ve never been more proud. Dawe’s performance was brilliant and unflawed and I’m not talking about his superior DJ skills. Like a mother wolf watching her cub make it’s first kill. I watched as he commanded the attention of an aggressor who in all reality didn’t really want any. With his deep bellowing voice and domineering stance, Docta Dawe told that mo fucka !
